How to track leads and sales from Skool
Members of your Skool community attributed with a bridge page and a tag.

| Connection | Guided — step by step, no server code involved |

| Worth knowing | Honest limit: if someone pays in Skool with an email different from the one on your list, the tag will find no one to attribute. The bridge page minimizes this (the email left on the bridge is usually the same one). |
With Skool, NEMO tracks which link brings each lead and which link brings each sale with no pixels and no Google Analytics. Know which link or video brings you members (and paying members) of your Skool community — even though Skool won't let you touch anything inside. You can't paste code inside Skool, so the source is captured BEFORE people arrive: on a bridge page of yours with your email form. The method is “The script on your site” (server-side · highest reliability): Paste one line (nemo.js) once on your site. From then on, when someone arrives through one of your links, NEMO remembers their source for 90 days and fills in the hidden field of your forms automatically. Honest limit: if someone pays in Skool with an email different from the one on your list, the tag will find no one to attribute. The bridge page minimizes this (the email left on the bridge is usually the same one). The full connection is 7 steps and you verify it with a single test click.
How does each Skool lead arrive with its source?
The script on your site · Server-side · highest reliability
You can't paste code inside Skool, so the source is captured BEFORE people arrive: on a bridge page of yours with your email form.
- Create a bridge page on your site: a headline, what your community is, and your email form (the one from your platform connected to NEMO, with its hidden field).
- Paste the NEMO script on that page:
<script src="https://nemolink.app/nemo.js" defer></script> - Point your NEMO link at the bridge page — never at skool.com directly (Skool drops every parameter).
- After leaving their email, the button takes them to your Skool group. Each subscriber is attributed to their source video before joining.
How is each Skool sale attributed?
The purchase tag · Tag-based · high reliability
Skool only talks to the outside world through Zapier. The sale becomes a tag in your email platform, and NEMO counts it attributed.
- Create the purchase tag (e.g. “skool-member”) in your Kit, MailerLite or ActiveCampaign, and save it in NEMO (“Conversion attribution” → sales).
- In Skool: Settings → Plugins → enable Zapier and copy your API key (requires the plan with plugins). Open Skool
- In Zapier: Skool trigger “New paid member” → action in your email platform: find the subscriber by email and add the tag.
Note: Honest limit: if someone pays in Skool with an email different from the one on your list, the tag will find no one to attribute. The bridge page minimizes this (the email left on the bridge is usually the same one).
Check it in one minute
- Click your own NEMO link and leave a test email on the bridge page.
- The lead shows up in your NEMO dashboard with its source.
- Add the purchase tag to that test subscriber: the sale shows up attributed to the same source.
Frequently asked questions
- What do I do if my NEMO link on the Skool about page doesn't work?
- That's Skool: links in the about page description are disabled by design. The bridge goes BEFORE Skool, not inside it.
- What do I do if paying members don't generate a sale in NEMO?
- Check the Zap (published? does the action add the EXACT tag you saved in NEMO?) and that your email platform is connected.
- What do I do if the sale shows “no source”?
- That member never went through your bridge (they joined Skool directly) or paid with another email. The sale still counts; the source only exists if there was a previously attributed subscription.
