How to track leads and sales from MailerLite
Subscribers into the lead-nemo group, already attributed — native connection.
AT A GLANCE
| What NEMO tracks | Leads · Sales |

| Connection | Native — activated from the NEMO app |
| Method | “The hidden form field” · Server-side · highest reliability |
| Steps | 6 in total, with a one-minute check at the end |
With MailerLite, NEMO tracks which link brings each lead and which link brings each sale with no pixels and no Google Analytics. Know which link or video brought you each MailerLite subscriber — and every sale you mark with its purchase group. When you connect (the Connect button on its card), NEMO creates the “nemo_click_id” field and the new-subscriber notice. The source comes in through your embedded form. The method is “The hidden form field” (server-side · highest reliability): Your form carries an invisible field (nemo_click_id) that travels with every signup to your email platform. NEMO receives it server to server: the lead arrives already attributed to its source link. The full connection is 6 steps and you verify it with a single test click.
How does each MailerLite lead arrive with its source?
The hidden form field · Server-side · highest reliability
When you connect (the Connect button on its card), NEMO creates the “nemo_click_id” field and the new-subscriber notice. The source comes in through your embedded form.
- Connect MailerLite from its card: generate a token in Integrations → API and paste it. Open API in MailerLite
- Use your form EMBEDDED on your site: paste the NEMO script and the nemo_click_id field fills itself in:
<script src="https://nemolink.app/nemo.js" defer></script> - Using a landing page hosted on MailerLite? The field can't be filled there (the script doesn't run on their domain): turn on the form's “Custom success page” pointing to your thank-you page and paste the lead notice on it:
<script src="https://nemolink.app/nemo.js" defer></script> <script> document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function () { if (window.nemo) window.nemo.track("lead", { event_name: "Registration" }); }); </script>
How is each MailerLite sale attributed?
The purchase tag · Tag-based · high reliability
In MailerLite, tags are GROUPS: whoever buys goes into the buyers group and NEMO counts the attributed sale.
- Create the group: Subscribers → Groups → “Create group” (e.g. “buyer”). Open Groups in MailerLite
- Make the purchase put the customer in the group: an automation with a purchase trigger (if your store is integrated: Shopify, WooCommerce…) → “Copy to group”; or add them by hand when you charge (bank transfer, Bizum). Open Automations in MailerLite
- In NEMO, save that group name under “Conversion attribution” → sales.
Check it in one minute
- On the MailerLite card, click “Send test”: real signup → notice → attributed lead on Home.
- The SUBSCRIPTIONS stage of the traffic light turns green on its own.
Frequently asked questions
- What do I do if the token doesn't validate?
- Generate a new token in Integrations → API (“Generate new token”) and copy it whole.
- What do I do if leads arrive showing “no source”?
- Is the form the one embedded on YOUR site (not the MailerLite landing page), and does the page carry the script? The “Conversion attribution” traffic light points at the exact step.
- What do I do if sales aren't being counted?
- The group name must match the one saved in NEMO exactly. And remember: MailerLite fires purchase automations only with integrated stores — if you charge elsewhere, add to the group by hand.
