Contacts and tags with automatic attribution — native connection.

With ActiveCampaign, NEMO tracks which link brings each lead and which link brings each sale with no pixels and no Google Analytics. Know which link or video brought you each ActiveCampaign contact — and every tagged sale. Native connection: NEMO creates the field and the notice for you. When you connect (the Connect button on its card), NEMO creates the “nemo_click_id” field in your account. All that's left is putting it in your form. The method is “The hidden form field” (server-side · highest reliability): Your form carries an invisible field (nemo_click_id) that travels with every signup to your email platform. NEMO receives it server to server: the lead arrives already attributed to its source link. The full connection is 6 steps and you verify it with a single test click.

How does each ActiveCampaign lead arrive with its source?

The hidden form field · Server-side · highest reliability

When you connect (the Connect button on its card), NEMO creates the “nemo_click_id” field in your account. All that's left is putting it in your form.

  1. Connect ActiveCampaign from its card: you need the URL and the Key from youraccount.activehosted.com → Settings → Developer.
  2. In your form (Website → Forms → Edit): under Fields → My Fields you'll see “nemo_click_id” (NEMO created it) — drag it into the form. Hidden fields only work in INLINE forms (not in modals or floating bars).
  3. If the form is embedded on YOUR site, paste the NEMO script and add the data-nemo-click attribute to the field — it fills itself in:
    <script src="https://nemolink.app/nemo.js" defer></script>

How is each ActiveCampaign sale attributed?

The purchase tag · Tag-based · high reliability

Every purchase tags the contact; NEMO counts the attributed sale.

  1. Create the tag: Contacts → Tags (Tag Manager) → “Add tag” (e.g. “buyer”). Avoid the characters > < [ ] ? \ ^ / + in the name.
  2. Make the purchase apply it: an automation with your connected store's purchase trigger (“Makes a purchase” with Stripe/Shopify/Woo), an “Add a tag” form action, or by hand if you close by phone call.
  3. In NEMO, save that same name under “Conversion attribution” → sales.

Check it in one minute

  1. On the ActiveCampaign card, click “Send test”: real signup → notice → attributed lead on Home.
  2. The SUBSCRIPTIONS stage of the traffic light turns green on its own.

Frequently asked questions

What do I do if the connection doesn't validate?
It takes BOTH things: the URL (ends in .api-us1.com) AND the Key, both from Settings → Developer.
What do I do if leads arrive showing “no source”?
Is the nemo_click_id field IN the form? Is it an inline form (floating ones don't allow hidden fields)? Does the form's page carry the script, and the field the data-nemo-click attribute?
What do I do if sales aren't being counted?
The tag name must match the one saved in NEMO exactly. Careful: AC's double opt-in is incompatible with the “Add a tag” form action (documented by AC).
